The 5th Consortium meeting of the YOUNG_ADULLLT research project took place in Brussels from the 14th to the15th June 2018. The meeting was organised by the University of Munster and the European Research Services GmbH, and hosted by the representation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia to the European Union.
The sessions of the first day focused on the presentation and discussion of the comparative analysis of the recently finalised empirical Working Packages (WP5, WP6 & WP7). During the sessions the participants commented on the work presented and provided suggestions for further research developments and ideas for publications, using the existent material gathered and analysed during the project. Management and quality assurance issues were also discussed during the first day of the meeting.
The second day of the meeting was dedicated to the Comparative Analysis to be developed on WP8 and the challenges around comparing and integrating all the pieces of work developed so far across the WPs. The first insights on the regional policy roundtables (WP9) and the learnings out of them were also shared during the second day of the meeting, which finalised with the agreement on the different dimensions to compare the regional policy roundtables results and discussions across countries and regions.
The day previous to the consortium meeting some interesting activities related to the YOUNG_ADULLLT project took place. Some of the early career researchers of the YOUNG_ADULLLT consortium met to discuss the case study methodology and how to better use it in the framework of the research project. In the afternoon some of the main messages of the research project were presented in a public policy roundtable, hosted by the representation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia to the European Union and in collaboration with researchers from the H2020 ENLIVEN research project.
